This striking West German pottery vase with a handle made by Scheurich Keramik in the 1960s is a true MCM statement piece and a wonderful addition to your autumn decor.
This rare red ceramic designer vase has a matt glaze with brown and beige fat lava pattern wrapping around the middle. There are some brown glossy glaze threads in the pattern which gives it a unique look. The inside is a glossy brown glaze.
The marking on the bottom reads:
W. Germany 414-18, although not clearly readable
The original sticker Europ Keramik is still attached.
This lovely mid century pottery vase will delight a WGP collectors heart and makes for a wonderful gift.
