Vintage rose lithography by the renowned Belgian botanical artist and rosier Pierre Joseph Redouté, 1759 - 1840, printed by Imprimerie de Remond around 1950.

The rose series painted by P.J. Redouté are most likely his most famous art pieces, produced under the patronage of the Empress Josephine, wife of Napoleon.

Depicted on this art piece is the beautiful Rosa Gallica Pontiana rose.

Roses have long been revered as the queen of flowers and are said to be a representation of the Divine Feminine. They are also rich with symbolism of love, purity, devotion, passion, beauty, sensuality, glam, high energy. A must-have for your altar and goddess practice.

Enhancing your room with this beautiful rose picture in a silver and gold coated wood frame with a lovely patina will uplift your mood every time you glance at the picture.

The print is protected by glass, with an ivy coloured passepartout and a closed back with a small hanging hook.
